Great question! The annual cost of hiring a full-time designer keeps growing every year and exceeds our price by a fat margin, plus equipment and benefits (that is, if you manage to find available talent in the first place). Aside from that, you might not always have enough work to keep them busy all the time, so you're stuck paying for unused time.
With the ThirtySquare monthly plan you can pause and resume your subscription as often as you need - you pay your designer only when you have work available for them.
Once you're subscribed and set up, you'll be able to add as many design requests to your queue as you'd like and they will be delivered one by one.
On average, most requests are delivered in 2 business days or less. However, more complex requests can take longer.
For now, ThirtySquare is an agency of one - you'll work directly with Eriks Lapins mostly (Founder references above). However, I do reach out to my network for specific skills that I haven't managed to pick up during my 8+ years in startupland and Nordic Design education.
We do understand that many startupers may not have enough design work to fill up a whole month. Many have a couple of burning design challenges to solve. That's where pausing your subscription is useful.
Billing cycle is based on 31 day period. If you sign up and use the service, say for 21 days, and then decide to pause, you''ll have 10 days of service remaining to be used at any point in the future.
I'm rather program-agnostic and use whatever tools get the job done. Like many designers, of course its Adobe Cloud Suite or Figma most of the time.
Yes. ThirtySquare does not do 3D modelling and the like, super tailored complex packaging (boxes are fine) and extensive print design (like books or magazines etc., your general stationary or banner is fine). If you have something unusal in mind, please do reach out and let's see if we can make it work.
Due to the nature of the service and aggressively low pricing for what you get, there won't be refunds issued. Since we work online it would be impossible to track bad actors.
But we do offer a pause function and unlimited reviews until you're fully satisfied with the results!
